As Sihala Shasthra predicted the President of Venezuela Hugo
Rafael Chávez Frías, the second revolutionary leader, has died at the age of 58 after a long battle
against cancer. He is considered the symbol of Latin American socialism. Chávez was a master of communication via
television and rode the wave of anti-Bush and anti-American sentiment after the
invasion of Iraq. Since President
Chávez took office in 1999, Venezuela had been transformed very successfully.
